ARP (Accelerated Recovery & Performance) works by utilizing a patented double exponential bi-phasic direct electrical current that was designed to mimic the impulses already present in the central nervous system. It works to identify sodium potassium leakage in certain cell groups that inhibit the presence of hyaluronic acid creating scar tissue – basically the origin of compensatory patterns where there is a lag in the nervous system’s signal to the fascial system. Everyone has these patterns, but elite athletes and active people develop deeper patterns through overuse of certain muscles.

ARP finds the neurological origin of these patterns and through active movement, rewires the way the central nervous system interacts with the fascial system.

For a person with an injured knee for instance, we may identify neurological origins in the VMO and QL – then we put the patient through basic movements for accelerated neuromuscular re-education. Although we are building muscle quickly, ARP is more about strengthening the brain’s connection to those muscles so they can work optimally to increase performance and reduce pain

In short, ARP is identifying the origin of compensatory patterns, and working to reverse them for optimal movement.
